Opening Night in STL w my MOM
I am headed back home tmrw to STl for opening night of the tour!. I am taking my Mom and 7 of her closes friends with me to the show. I took her to the show at Ravinia in Chicago and she had a great time.
For those of you who dont know my mom has stage 4 breast cancer and she is doing great and is a huge Jacks Fan! For more info see my last blog post.

btw, I should probably read before I type.
I am glad to hear your mom is doing well. My mother had breast cancer 15 years ago and went through every surgery and chemo possible. Today she's 80 and doing well. I wish the same for your mom.

Hi Andrew,
Just wanted to connect and tell you a quick story. This past August, my two boys (ages 14 &15) and I had the pleasure of piloting a helicopter into Canada from Maine, USA and did quite a lot of flying (like 12 hours) on that trip in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. My son Alex brought his ipod and we hooked it up to the helicopter audio panel and played a 40 minute playlist of your music for the duration of the trip. The three of us fell in love with your music on that adventure. Now hearing these songs brings us, mentally, back to this trip, which was a time none of us will forget. I am hopeful that my children will hear your music decades from now and remember our time together on that trip. It was quite an adventure and your music became imprinted with the events.
One of your songs has some sounds in it during a transition that had me checking the helicopter for critical malfunction, lol. It contains some sounds that you don't want to hear coming from your helicopter, for sure. Quite scary but that only got me on the first two or three listenings.
On the prompting of my sons, I just purchased tickets for us to see your concert at the State Theatre in Augusta, Maine, on February 2. The three of us are pretty excited to share this event together.
I want to extend a friendly welcome and an invitation for a helicopter ride while you're in Maine. I know your schedule is totally crazy so perhaps you may benefit from an air-taxi. Given the "helicopter history" we have with your music meeting you in this context would be a thrill.
